Have leopard jeans had their day or are they still in style for 2025?

About to add a pair of leopard print jeans to my small and considered collection of jeans. I can see myself getting lots of wear out of them and they’ll work well with my current wardrobe but - are they still “in” for the coming year? Or are they now a bit dated? I’ve seen women wearing them (very stylishly) around my area (London) since early 2024, so worried I am too late to the trend to invest (as usual 🙄)

BTW - any posts about how I shouldn’t blindly follow trends etc. will be ignored 😁

I have two pairs - one in a dark brown print, straight/wide leg, and a paler print in a barrel leg, both from Abercrombie. The darker pair I have worn a lot with brown, burgundy, and red on top over autumn/winter. I also have the Damson Madder wide-leg drawstring leopard Rafe pants which I'm looking forward to wearing in the summer.

My TikTok's absolutely rammed with leopard print jean OOTD so I am really surprised at PP saying they haven't seen people in them out and about, or seen them in shops. M&S even had a load of them last week when I walked through (perhaps a sign the trend has indeed peaked!).

Ooh the Rafe pair are the ones I’m considering! I guess they’re more of a wide trouser than a Jean? Can you give me an in-depth review please? 😂 I love the slightly faded look of them

For anyone else debating a leopard purchase (sounds like there are a few of us!) these Damson Madder trousers are on sale, and they look to me like the perfect piece - wide leg, slightly muted/faded leopard print 🤩 damsonmadder.com/products/rafe-pant-leopard?variant=44244611956964

I've seen a lot of animal print jeans on clothing websites at the moment (leopard, zebra, snake). Places like Hush, Mint Velvet, Next etc

I've not actually worn them out yet as the denim is quite light/thin. They're definitely more like trousers than jeans. I found them stiff initially and to begin with they were a bit crotch-y - but having worn them round the house the material softens up. I'm 5ft 6 and a size 12 on the bottom, the 12 is the right size for me. I need to hem them as they're quite long for wearing with trainers (which is how I'll wear them, or maybe Birkenstock Bostons). The fabric design is really nice, and I like the "hidden" DM in the print.

I’m wearing some as I type! Got them from Boden in 2023. They are slim fit with that annoying ankle grazer length though so it’s not been warm enough to wear them this year until today.

Pretty sure that animal print has become a classic at this point, it will always be wearable (it has Def lost that Corrie barmaid connotation!).
I have the New Look Adalae wide legged jeans in leopard print. Also a pair of snakeskin straight legged ones I brought on sale from Primark which looks surprisingly good. They are both quite long though so i need some drier weather to wear them.

OP come back and tell us if you bought them and how you feel about them!

I prefer leopard print trousers, I have a wide leg pair from tkmax that I've had for around 4 years, and just brought from next clearance a velvet pair, that I love so much brought another pair, one in petite to wear with flats and the standard length to wear with a small heel ankle boot or shoes.
