College Summer Ball. Need to look a bit stunning really!

I will be surrounded by lithe young things with endless limbs and swishy hair. i on the other hand am not too bad, but 30, 5'2" and a size 10 with generous norks, dark red hair and pale olive skin. ball is at a swish golf club at the end of june. budget is £150, but would prefer to pay less tbh.

please help me o'wise mners!

I got a fab dress from monsoon last ball I went to, strapless, swishy skirt, tied in at the waist, made me feel great. Unfortunatly I borrowed some shoes, didn't try them on before and found out I couldn't walk in them with out cutting my feet to shreds, rubbish on grand gravel drive to the event Thats probably no help is it?

I found this shop through eBay when I was looking for a frock for my 40th - they do Coast and Monsoon all BNWT, sale stuff mostly. Got a £200 dress for £75 and they threw in a free £40 clutch bag too.

god, i hope so. its worse because our department is in the beauty section. they all wear make up all the time!
