What comfy but nice trousers for being mum

I'm late 30s, have a toddler and preschooler. I want to look a little nicer/trendy/funky or quirky even, but comfortable!

I put on leggings for playgroup etc, as soon as I'm home my comfy joggers go back on and often these days stay on to go to the park, supermarket, nursery run etc. I NEVER wore joggers out of the house before first baby was born (& then only when recovering from birth)

I wear nice various colour jeggings sometimes, and I have a couple of linen trousers for summer, but is there something else other than jeggings that look better than joggers! I want to be comfy but not look a slob. Not keen on jeans really

Size 12ish, sometimes bit more on my legs, more a 10 on my top if sleeveless (fairly muscular arms)

Thank you

Something from here if your budget allows:

Community Clothing trousers

Or maybe:

Beyond Nine clothing

Or:

Uniqlo trousers

What about wide legged joggers?

still comfy but looks a bit more stylish than cuffed leg ones.

Or flared leggings?

If you’re wanting something funky but still comfy then trousers like this will be good for spring/summer

I find looking on asos good inspiration as there’s so much stuff, and then you can look elsewhere for similar styles if you prefer the quality of other shops.

I was gonna say the Uniqlo jersey trousers! They are really thick - they are so comfy and if you shake them out after washing you don’t need to iron them even though you feel like they will probably need ironing! I’m the most ‘smart clothes averse’ person and I’ve got two pairs for work. But they’d be fine for home.

Thanks, the jersey trousers look nice in the first photo, not so much in the video. OK price too.

Some of the community clothing trousers are cool, but too expensive, especially when toddler probably end up ruining them at some point, climbing on me with messy hands etc! Maybe in a few years

The last time I ironed was for a wedding maybe 6 years ago! Do they wash well?

You could always look for higher cost things pre-owned? And keep them for smarter occasions.

I bought the m and s boot cut jeggings and they are great. Very comfortable.

Abercrombie sloane trousers or the Halara equivalent (I think flex?) are smart-looking, versatile and comfortable.

Cords are good for quirky outfits and there's usually a range of colours to choose from.
