Several of us on another thread have been wailing about the fact that summer's here and we have no suitable clothes.

so, if you're not a size 00 or even a 10 and have some advice about where to get some decent summer clothes for the chubsters amongst us, please tell!

Preferably online, with links. I thank you.

I wear ghost all the time. Their long skirts are great - they are expensive but I wear them literally every day and you just throw them in the machine hundreds of times and they come out fine.

Also, I have some nice things from Boden inc this which is really nice and it's long enough for me (I look terrible in knee length dresses - feel like a giant Tiny Tears)

WideWebWitch · 08/05/2008 22:29

I like the Ghost stuff but am about to lose loads of weight (yeah right) so mustn't spend lots of money as it will all be sent to the charity shop come October

Just looked at Principles and Littlewoods and every time I see something V necked and long and black then it's out of stock in my size, all the other lardarses got there first, sob.

i find wearing a layer underneath, just a cotton camisole or vest, makes clothes less likely to cling and also makes dull tops more interesting. can keep another one in bag and change for evening if needed.
