Best alternative for retin/retinol

Hello, can anyone suggest any good alternatives for retinol products? I used retinol for years but didn’t really take to it. Now I can finally see wrinkles forming and need to do something about it!

Tret?

Tretinoin

I would also recommend Tretinoin but with a proper supportive routine around it. If you’re going to do retinol then do it properly with Tret but make sure you are using lots of hydrating and nourishing products with it. There are some really good Facebook groups that will help you build a routine which will hopefully give you a better experience than before.

Sorry I meant my skin is too sensitive for retinol so tret def wouldn’t work. I’ll have a look at Bakuchiol it sounds promising.

Any other suggestions or an anti ageing routine without retinol/tret that works for other people?

Another vote for Bakuchiol oil, it's known as the vegan alterative to retinol.

Bakuchiol caused my skin to react. I use the Dr Organics range of skincare from Holland and Barrett. Depends on what your skincare concerns are. I find the brightening cream works well on hyperpigmentation.

As a beauty therapist with sensitive skin I'd recommend using hyaluronic acid along with bakuchiol(retinol alternative), and argireline.

Tretinoin. It's a purer form of retinol (retinoid) that works more deeply. I use the Monderma prescription it has tretinoin 0.025%, azelaic acid 5%, niacinamide 2% in it. It's the best thing I've applied topically for anti-wrinkles.
