Recently lost 4 stone and not sure what suits my new shape.

Looking for an outfit for the west end as a date night and an outfit for the daytime too.

Any suggestions?

No one knows your

Clothes size and any fitting preferences. What is your new shape?

Budget. Do you prefer to shop from the High St, Vinted, Net-a-Porter, charity shops?

Usual style. Super casual, jeans and a nice top, bias cut satin, strictly all black?

Lifestyle / etc. What does a normal day entail for you? Dog walking, soft play, board meetings, train platforms?

Work from home so just comfy wear usually but want to try and get back on styling now the kids are growing and I’ve got more time for me.

I guess I don’t even know what’s stylish anymore, if I go out it’s usually slim jeans. I used to live in baggy clothes as I was big but now I’m open to more fitted clothing.

Budget wise I don’t mind as I only currently have one pair of jeans in new size (12) and a few basic tees. I haven’t bought anything more substantial.

Budget? What will you be doing during the daytime?

I'd be trying on all the different shapes of trousers and jeans and seeing what you like. Wide leg is everywhere but it's such a change its hard to get used to.

Theatre is very casual these days but some nice trousers with a fitted top or bodysuit and a jacket or a tucked in top/shirt would be a nice silhouette which could work for a lot of occasions.

Wfh i have tried to up my game but find leggings and a big jumper the most comfortable and practical so I bought good leggings and cashmere jumpers and a wool wrap for when it's really cold.

Its a good time of year for midi dresses and boots if you like that look. It's very versatile and would also be comfort to wfh.

We’re getting the train to London and then having a walk round, dinner, cocktails, theatre. We haven’t had a night away with no kids in 6 years so want to make an effort without being overdressed.

I’d take a close look at Massimo Dutti. They’re very good at the moment.

This sort of jacket

Or this one

would work well with jeans, be comfortable in the auditorium and in a restaurant, and is small enough to go under a coat if necessary.

Congratulations on the wight loss how did you achieve it? Maybe worth booking an appointment at Harvey Nicholls or another John Lewis to have some suggestions from a style expert and a nice girlie afternoon out too :)
