Leggings - are ££ ones more comfy?

I’m walking more and going to start running again. So I’ve been wearing more ‘active wear.’ I’ve never found gym leggings very comfy. I don’t like the gusset falling down mainly but generally the feel of them is not my favourite .I’ve read lots of things about sweaty betty or lulu lemon being a cut above etc. has any legging hater been converted by them (or a cheaper imitation) or is it just that leggings aren’t for me.

I see someone else has mentioned bam, I was just popping back to suggest them. I can't justify buying any more, but they are beautifully soft made from bamboo viscose. You can get great deals in the sales.

Just to add a couple more to the mix, fabletics are good for everyday and last well but no pull cord so I find I have to readjust them. LNDR are also good material and came highly recommended by a friend but you need to be just the right shape (fairly straight up and down) so very much recommend trying and sending back if you're not totally totally satisfied.

I like these ones from Amazon. They don't fall down even with a phone in my pocket.
