I hope the gloomy reason for this request doesn’t put off you lovely ladies of the style and beauty board !
I need pjs that are button opening rather than over the head as I’m soon having a mastectomy.
I am size 18 and petite ( under 5 foot 3) and am looking for long sleeve trouser length pjs rather than shorties or short sleeves . Materials as natural as possible and comfortable so no satin ( polyester is fine ) just not anything glamorous or sexy !)
I’ve looked at marks and Spencer and new look and boo hoo all of which came up in my Google search but nothing of note there.
thank you xxxx

@Maddy70 bir I’ve been told that you can’t get things over your head for a while hence the button up tops ?

That's why do for big and baggy. Realistically you need help whatever. It's only for the first few days it's an issue after then it's fine. It really wasn't as bad as I expected.

I've just had breast surgery and in preparation my daughter in law bought me some fabulous Chelsea Peers PJs for Christmas. I'm the same height as you and they don't drag on the floor at all, they're wonderfully soft and comfy too! Good luck with your surgery Flowers

I have really loved these ones from Amazon. They are cotton mixed with modal so don’t shrink in the wash (which I find 100% cotton does) and are lovely, soft and breathable with a bit of stretch to them. I’m petite myself and they are a good length.

When I had my mastectomy, I also bought a handful of very soft button tops in a larger size to put on during the day - stopped me feeling quite such a saddo! Wide enough in the chest to allow for the drain (if you have one) and with wide armholes. They don't need to match your bottoms! Good luck 💐

@sauvignonplonk1 ive just looked at Chelsea peers and they’re lovely . The model is 5”9 though and the bottoms are just above the floor . Did you turn them up to fit at the waist assuming you’re similar height to me and was it still comfy ?

@lisalisa no, I haven't needed to turn them up at all. I'm a size 12 and 5'3" ish.

Also Amazon, Global pyjamas, brushed cotton. Jacket is button down with pockets large enough for a mobile phone etc..

Good luck with your surgery.

Just to say that when I had mine I lived in pure cotton school cardigans from M&S afterwards.

All the best with it. My ops were actually fine and I had no pain.

sorry I meant in Their Nibs website

I bought a pair from Their Nibs and they were huge and I had to go down two sizes so that might be worth bearing in mind.

(I don't know about length as they were shorts)

Good luck with everything 🙂
