Nail help!

I'm getting married soon and want to get my nails but have never had them done professionally before.

I just want a nude colour with some simple white hearts. I don't need extensions - my natural nails are in pretty good shape. What do I need to ask for? I'm confused by BIAB, gel polish shellac.... What should I be expecting to pay? The more nail bar website I look at the more confused I am! 😂😭

HELP ME!

Is that your own hand? Are you just showing off??

Don't pay to have them done, you're doing a great job already.

Assuming these aren't your nails...
For a wedding I'd go for BIAB it's stronger and less likely to chip
Take some picture examples of what you want.
Price will vary massively depending on area etc

Gah, no not my hand - just what I would like doing to my own nails!

Is it literally the wedding you want them for or longer, like honeymoon too?
If just the wedding, ordinary/gel polish is fine.

If you want them to do the honeymoon too, then I would say BIAB. It's basically they put on a layer underneath the actual polish which strengthens your nails, then when the nail technician does the colour polish on top, it lasts longer.
My daughter's friend is a nail tech as a way of part-time job while she is in college and does my daughters (has done mine for occasions) and it lasts 3 weeks. In fact it's still strong after that, but usually it's grown out, so she either removes (me) or files back and adds a new layer of BIAB into the outgrown bit for my daughter and does colour polish again. Advantage is it doesn't wreck your nails as shellac does.
