My DD is in desperate need of some new clothes but I'm struggling to find anything that fits or that she is happy with.

She's rather short for her age and has put on quite a lot of weight recently around her tummy/bottom so if we go up a size or two to fit on the waist it is too long in the length.

She won't wear dresses/skirts so we're looking for jeans and casual trousers. She can be quite particular about the fabric and feel of clothes as she has some sensory issues, so ideally nothing too stiff or restrictive.

Are there any brands that do children's clothes in a plus size range? I've found school clothes but not casual everyday clothes.

I had a look at google and put in plus size for teenagers and quite a few websites were mentioned.

I did Google but couldn't see much for my daughter's age. She's very short for her age so we find the length is usually far too long on most teenage brands.

Hi,
I'm struggling to find school dresses for my DG who has a 'tummy' can you tell me where you got yours please?

Thank you

It can be really hard to find clothes that fit well and feel comfortable, especially when your child is sensitive to how things feel. We’ve had the same problem. H&M and Ulla Popken have some soft joggers and leggings with adjustable waists that might work. You could also try Yours Clothing’s Kidz range, which starts at age 10 and is made for bigger sizes. ASDA and Sainsbury’s sometimes have good basics too. I also came across a site called Saving Says that shares deals and discount codes for some of these stores, which might be worth a look to save a bit. It takes some trial and error, but there are options out there. You’re not alone.

We've gone for school skirts rather than dresses @kaylor22 . We found ones made by Trutex fit well as they do different lengths and waist fittings so I was able to go up a couple of sizes on the waist but still get one the right length. I'm not sure if they do school dresses.

Thanks @alihyder I'll take a look at those brands as we're still struggling to find comfortable clothes that fit
