not literally aa 'wardrobe' obviously but what goes inside!

have recently slimmed down from a size 16-18 to a 12 yippee! so oh what a shame i need new clothes!

i am 5ft8ish, have dark hair and i like topshop, bellaju, classic with a quirky modern twist. not too keen on my legs. tendency to wear frocks over jeans, have a good waist a biggish boobies .

thank you xxx

dresses over jeans?
try asos.com they have fab fab stuff. reasonable prices, and trendy too. even the stuff in sale is super duper trendy still and not last season for at least a couple of years. (but if you are a marks twelve, you may want to try their 14, or go by garment measurement)
well done on losing all that weight!

sale dressess can be worn over jeans.
i have never been happy with their jeans/trousers though. so stick to topshop etc for them

BitLessTiredNow · 05/05/2008 18:56

I like mandco.com they have some lovely stuff now and it is reasonable.

Dresses over jeans are over. Don't buy them now - you'll be fed up very quickly.

Tunics however are fine - there are loads around.

belcantavinissima · 05/05/2008 18:58

yep theres some nice ones on there.

though am thinking i should maybe be now moving away from that look of mine as now i can show off rather than cover up iyswim!

oh and thank you

the site won't let me link to individual items, but esprit is fabulous for quality basics - nicely cut t-shirts, knits and jackets that are properly proportioned for tall folk .

belcantavinissima · 05/05/2008 19:01

ooh no i'm not sure of that mandco stuff. never heard of it but just looked and not sure its really may bag.

oh i should add that i cannot stand next or anything of that ilk..... kind of not trendy enough but too 'much' to be good basics. i do like gap though. and often primark. which is weird.

go to bentalls / monsoon and get the FREE personal shopping service.... Have done both with great success. The lady a bentalls in Kingston is ace! even my Dh (notoriously fussy) liked what she chose for me....

belcantavinissima · 05/05/2008 19:05

ooh there IS some nice stuff on the esprit website and not v pricey. have bookmarked it!

fym- is that a nationwide service at monsoon do you think? we dont have a bentalls (live in devon!)
