Best strong foundation?

I have some bruising on my face (well, a lot) from an accident. However, I'm starting a new job on Monday. I usually use quite a light foundation (if any), but that just won't cut it in this case and I can't turn up on my first day looking like a crash victim!

Any recommendations for the best hardcore foundation with really good coverage? I would use concealer if it was just isolated bruises but it's literally half my face!

I've heard of people using dermacol foundation to cover up tattoos so I'm sure it will cover up bruising no bother.

I hope your face gets better soon and good luck with the new job.

Try colour correcting the bruise first before opting for a very thick foundation. It allows you to use light layers of products rather than a heavy cakey layer. Orange counteracts purple and yellow tones cancel blue, peach will counteract greyness. You can even use an appropriate lipstick mixed with concealer to get the correct tone. There are plenty of YouTube videos on covering bruises.

Vichy Dermablend is absolutely brilliant. I had an awful bruise following polynucleotide treatment, and it covered it up really well. I used an orange concealer under the foundation as this counteracts the purple bruising. Finally I used By Terry translucent powder to set it. Good luck!
