The Bobbi Brown cream eye shadow stick?

Opinions about the Bobbi Brown cream eyeshadow stick-thing would be welcome. Sali Hughes seems to rate this

Just want something non-sparkly that will even out redness on my eyelids and has some staying power/doesn’t immediately crease. Have had a few bad purchases trying to sort this. Like I could put on one eyelid and not the other and see no difference at all.

(I have blue eyes.)

Looked amazing and went on amazing but irritated my eyes horrifically (as did the BB mascara:( ) . I kept trying/ testing it and same thing- really red eyes. Was gutted!

I got on great with it & no redness. It's very silky and lasts well

Look at AYU eyeshadow sticks, they are great so are Rimmel but they're a bit sparkly.

I think they're great, one of my favourite products. I use them alone and also as a base for powder eyeshadow, they work brilliantly as a primer. I have fair, warm colouring with blue eyes and Toast and Taupe are great neutrals on me.

thanks all.
I feel like I’ve been on a search for something like this for a long time.

Like I remember Benefit’s LemonAid, which was frankly awful.

I brought a mini one from john lewis sale to try for the first time, I brought taupe , it's great, the first eye pencil to stay on my lids mostly all day without creasing.

I've got the truffle and aubergine shades (thanks to a 25% off offer at Boots over Christmas!) I really like them - they work exactly as expected and glide on and can be used as either a liner or smudged for eyeshadow.
I've bought similar imitations from NYX, no7 and they just didn't work as well

if you want something to even out tone / redness etc, I can highly recommend the NYX profix corrector sticks. I have green (for redness) yellowish one for brightening and a pinky one for evening out dark circles. They don't leave much colour behind compared to the Bobbi brown sticks

If you have a Sephora, then their brand eye shadow crayons are just as good at a much lower price.

I have one and I really rate it, however be careful as both of the shadow sticks fell out of the pen thing. So I don’t know about the quality of the actual packaging.

I’ve been using a Laura Mercier eyeshadow stick, which I think is probably very similar. It’s a good bit of kit in lighter shades but comes undone with anything a bit darker. It’s worth looking at the Trinny eyeshadow in a pot thing, although not as practical/easy to apply, especially if you have nails.
