Shampoo & Conditioner for coloured hair

I have naturally mid-brown hair, but now that the grey is starting to become more apparent, I've had it coloured. The base colour is my natural brown colour, and I also have copper highlights in it.

At the moment I'm using Herbal Essences shampoo & conditioner for coloured hair, but was wondering if anyone has any experience with other shampoos and conditioners for coloured hair, and perhaps could recomend a better one? I haven't tried any others, and would like to be able to keep the colour looking fresh and my hair shiny for as long as possible in between having it re-coloured.

Thanks for any help!

I use the Dove one for coloured hair, very cheap and makes my hair soft and shiny.

I use tresemme - it's not the cheapest but is affordable IMO. I had my hair coloured in November, and yes it has faded but people still tell me it looks nice (the bits that are coloured, I obviously have a lot of grey roots showing after 6 months )

Thanks for these prompt replies, both of you.

Much appreciated.

I'm off to the "S" word (Sainsbury's!!) this afternoon, and will have a look for those two products you mentioned.

I spend alot on having my hair coloured - about £60 a time, but that includes a cut and blow dry aswell - so want to keep it looking fresh as long as possible.

Thanks again.

I use Redken shampoo and conditioner for my hair. Have used others but they are not as good as Redken IMO.
