How do you store shirts & blouses?

I have dozens of “work tops” and no idea how to store them. What do you do?

I find if I keep them folded in chest of drawers, they end up looking creased and sad. I tend to decide what to wear in the morning so ironing/steaming the morning of is a faff.

I resorted to hanging them in my wardrobe and freestanding clothes rack to keep them ready to wear, but I have too many tops that it takes up vital space. I need to sort this out so any suggestions appreciated!

You have too many clothes.

I hang all my blouses, I own 6 Me&Em type blouses which I wear for work and at the weekends. I take good care of them and they look lovely all the time.

I have one wardrobe and a drawer. Anything like tshirts and vests and workout stuff goes in the drawer. Everything else I own including cashmere jumpers gets hung up.

Have a sort out and reduce your clothes only to what you love.

I hang them all. But I also store my clothes seasonally, so for example in winter I just have my winter clothes in my wardrobe and my summer clothes are packed away.

Hang them. Never heard of folding in a drawer.

Thanks!!

I don’t have too many clothes. I have removed anything ill fitting or outdated too, so this is the streamlined collection😆

I just live in a small space with limited room.

I suppose I can keep everything hung. This stuff isn’t seasonal but I can make room by shuffling out any summery things or winter coats I won’t reach for

Iron them every Sunday night then hang them up straight away. Or I'll iron my outfit the night before and hang it on my door ready for the morning - the only tops I fold into drawers are casual weekend T-shirts!

I used to rotate my "seasons"
As autumn approached my summer stuff would go in plastic boxes and out would come my autum/winter clothes, could you do that, store the boxes in the loft?
I have a spare room now which I call my dressing room 🙄, I've kitted it out with two, three door wardrobes and a large matching chest of drawers, IKEA, just in case anyone thinks I'm posh 😂
Dc moved out, hense the spare room, at 58 I finally have room for all my treasure 😉

Everything else I own including cashmere jumpers gets hung up.

They should be folded and kept flat, not hung up.

I have hangers that hang off each other this is good for thin stuff like tops and you can use the full length of your wardrobe.
