What to do with my hair

I've not changed the style or how I style it/blow dry/straighten etc. For weeks now it's not sat right.i have naturally curly hair that I straighten but lately it only goes as i want/ like when professionally blown dried @£30 a go. I can't afford that every week. I would never go curly. So that's not an option.

For context, I'm 49 and probably peri-meno. How do I get my hair back to how i like it again ??

Keratin treatment? (Aka Brazilian blowdry)

Really good for hair that has started to change texture with age!

You could try the Revlon One Step. I got mine on sale from Argos for about £30 so even with only one use it was cheaper than a blowdry. I am also menopausal and my hair has got very frizzy, but this helps it look ok if not fantastic.

Mine is like this. I resigned myself to needing lots of different straightening tools, depending on how much effort I want/need to put in.

I fell victim to the Tymo advertising on TikTok and ordered the comb style one and it has genuinely been the best straightener I've ever used. I swore by GHDs years ago, and have used a L'Oreal steam pod that was also very good, but time-consuming.

I realised recently that a lot of the time, I don't want to perfectly straighten my hair, which the Tymo comb style thingy does. So I ordered their brush style one (unfortunately comes with a US plug but I bought a converter and have no issues with use) and now I can get away with blasting my hair dry, and then brushing it so it is straight enough. It will go straight and not flat, and might bounce up slightly over the course of the day, but it gets it to a decent state QUICKLY and with low effort, which is what I wanted.

Sorry for the info dump, I'm just enthusiastic. 😂
