I know those they look good but the slim trousers look nice with flats too

ElizabethBeresfordSW19 · 03/05/2008 18:39

I just looked on clarkes website and i didn't see anything called chickpea?!!!!

Trousers are lovely though, very Audrey Hepburn, if they are not too long on you. There was a pair of shoes on the C wbst called glitter glam or glitter jane. they'd be nice with those trousers.

I like the trousers.

The heels on the shoes are too low for my liking regardless of whether wearing crop trousers or not. But I'm trying to visualise if they would work with the shoes....hmmm....I think so but not sure.

i think that you are more in love with the shoes than the trousers, so why not buy the shoes then try them on in Monsoon changing room and see if they go?

Best case - they do and you're sorted for trousers and shoes. Worst case, you still have a pair of shoes you love

Love the trousers (but then I do have a love affair with Monsoon trousers)

The link you have given is for the trousers btw

cocolepew · 03/05/2008 19:03

found them, I think they would look good. It would be a smart look with the trousers. Very nice.

Are they the 7/8 trousers? I love that length. Your description of the shoes in the op doesn't do the shoes any justice!

How high is the waist? Just covering pubes or just below belly button?

Shoes to clumpy and formal for the trews.

Something peep toe or with a wedge would like better I think. Or of course ballet pumps.
