I need a pair of orange shoes and thought I saw in a fashion piece or an advert some Russell and Bromley Orange wedges
We don't have R+B near us, so I'm planning to get my mum to pop in to the Bluewater one when she goes next week.
Tell me, before i send her on a wild goose chase, has any one seen them, or was I dreaming?

only going bananas?

DR, i thought you were already there!

Why on Earth do you need orange shoes? Are you going to a themed Summer Solstice party at Stonehenge?

ChippyMinton · 03/05/2008 18:29

like these? yellow though.

DarrellRivers · 03/05/2008 18:29

no seriously, I have a lovely silk blue shirt dress to wear to a london wedding and an orange necklace and I think the wedges would look fab with it.
with this bag
[please believe me emotion]

hmm, those are nice, chippy. but would be much better in orange than yellow.

DarrellRivers · 03/05/2008 18:31

but they last for years the R+B ones, and are v comfortable
false economy, cheap shoes, plus is pretty fab wedding so feel justified
i always feel a million dollers in R+B shoes

hell, if you can afford it, why not go for it?

they're nice shoes.

i'd SO buy in R&B if i could afford it.

we get the DD1's shoes there, though - she's got a C width foot so it's all Start Rite and Kickers for her.

DarrellRivers · 03/05/2008 18:41

expat i know i shouldn't buy them either,[severe guilt emotion]
will have to do an extra work session
ah f* it, live life a bit i reckon, i'm having to cut back everywhere else

i couldn't agree more, DR!

if you like them, and your children are not going to go without running water for them, why not?

they'll put you in a light mood for summer.

they're pretty!

are you going to go with painted toenails or just buff them up?

DarrellRivers · 03/05/2008 19:06

i think with so much orange i might just go natural, otherwise God knows what colour polish i'd go for
i think i'll do my fake tan with existing bottle i have and do my hair myself to justify the shoes [feels better already]

Jigsaw have some orange patent sandals, cross over toe, with straw wedge heel too. £50.

expatinscotland · 03/05/2008 19:53

i like Essie 'Allure' nail varnish for a natural look without being bare.

or 'Mademoiselle'.
