Has anyone actually bought one?

If you have, and it is good, which one? I have a feeling that they are all pretty rubbish but I live in hope.

For context, I have a lot of hair, pretty coarse as it’s going white. I’d like to be able to smooth/ curl/ dry as the mood takes me.

Get a Revlon One Step if you want an air styler. I don't buy anything advertised on FB/Instagram,they're 99% scams .

I’m curious too!

I did buy something ( else) from fb and is actually was fantastic- not a scam at all.
Curious about the styler things though

Nope, never buy from social media sites they are more than likely scams.

Photo of hair in case anyone can make suggestions! It’s now a bit longer, needs to be tied back for work so I’ve sort of forgotten to do anything with it for the last year or so.

I got suckered into one from Instagram. It promised a refund if not satisfied. Well, firstly it took over a month to come (from overseas, not UK as stated, of course China but pretended it was US). It was shit. Flimsy plastic barrel wrappers and the bristles on the other attachments were so rough I was sure they’d rip my hair.

So I contacted them for the refund. Firstly they said no refund as I bought it on offer therefore refund policy didn’t apply. I had screenshot the website where nothing of the sort of was mentioned. Eventually after several weeks of emailing, they offered a part refund. But the address was China and it would have cost more to return it.

By this point the website had vanished. Only to be replaced with a similar one a few days later.

PayPal wouldn’t refund because a product had been sent.

It’s not a scam as such because you will receive a product. But it IS a rip-off drop-shipping outfit selling rubbish goods.

Check the Trust Pilot reviews - once you’ve filtered out the obviously fake ones, you’ll probably see it’s crap.

As PP said, just buy the proper thing. There are Dysons and Sharks all over Cex in excellent barely used condition for half the price.

One step,the smaller version.

Yes. Bought the Magic Styler as a Dyson airwrap dupe for £50. No issue with product...am getting much needed volume into my fine hair. The wrap curler takes some practice but so far, I can't see how anyone would justify paying £400 for a Dyson when this does the job.

No issue with payment or delivery.
