Or not actually as I can’t afford it. However, I know I really suit baby blue and light grey any ideas what else might suit me.

blue eyes, light blonde hair.

A lady at work mentioned she had her colours done and it was “life changing” she is very fair skinned with light brown hair with blond highlights. She was told to never wear black. She wears baby blue, light pink, cream, all shades of brown and lots of floral. I’m no fashion expert but was surprised because in my (totally clueless) view none of these colours actually suit her. The only time I’ve thought her clothing looked good was when she wore navy. She said the colour match people said everyone can wear navy. Sorry that’s probably not much help. I would google and then go to a shop and try a few things.

Thanks! Yes I don’t know if I even trust the process. And I expect it’s very individual.

Most fashionistas now think it's claptrap.

I’ve had it done - I thought it was really worthwhile but it was quite expensive. You could have a look at kettlewell colours website - they have all the colour palettes on there and experiment a bit. It’s best to put the colour up against your face with no make up on really to get the best effect and with your hair off your face if its dyed. Not very practical for the shops though!

when you are young you can wear almost any colour but the older you get the more worthwhile it is IMO. Especially once over 40.

I highly recommend Style Me Happy- only £40 for a colour analysis and there's a lovely private Facebook group where I've had loads of great style ideas too. I was classified as a Cool Summer, which I wasn't expecting but it's made a big positive difference to my wardrobe and makeup choices since then.

Ps it's here www.stylemehappy.co.uk/book-online/colour-analysis Promise
I don't work for them, I just found it really good value so I'm spreading the word

It works well for me, though I bend the rules a bit. I’m a (fairly dark) summer with brown hair and blue/grey eyes. I look good in most colours with a blue undertone, especially if they’re a bit muted. So, most blues and purples, dusky pink, burgundy, blue-greens and greys. Orange is my worst colour - it makes my skin look terrible.

I think you might be a summer too. You could try out the following combinations of colours in natural light and see which most flatters your skin tone:

Dusky pink vs. coral pink (or peach)
Bluish green vs. lime green
Burgundy vs. black
Light sky blue vs. dark navy
Mauve vs. camel/yellowy beige

If the first colour of each pair looks best, then I reckon you’re a summer.
