Can anyone make any recommendations for me please? I'm 41 and over the last few weeks my under eyes have aged dramatically, not sure what had happened!! They are dry and wrinkled and really making me feel horrendous. The rest of my face is fairly youthful and normally people think I'm a bit younger than my years.

I'm getting plenty of sleep and keeping well hydrated, also exercise daily.

I usually use an elf primer and huda concealer under my eyes to colour correct data circles but lately I just feel like it's making me dry and wrinkly plus the make up is now sitting in creases.

I've always been pretty low key with make up and beauty. I remove makeup with coconut oil and use aldi overnight moisturiser, but that's it.

Would love some recommendations! Thanks 😊

Shamelessly joining in! I have the Nyx colour corrector palette but its not the right texture for layering under my nars concealer - nars do a colour corrector but its £££, and obviously you can't try before you buy.... hoping we get answers!

I guess the thing is you need to address the underlying thing that's changed. Is it the central heating being on, dehydration, lack of sleep? Or something else. Makeup can only cover up what's there. I've started on retinol and hyaluronic acid recently which I feel is working for me. Also bought a x20 magnifying mirror which is very scary, but using it to apply makeup and creams is making me so much more careful, and I needs lot less product than I thought, and a lot less time for it to be absorbed than I realised.

Could it be the cold, OP?
Change in weather can be very drying for skin.

Make sure you're drinking plenty and I'd begin adding in a few extra hydrating skin care products - layer up.
Serum, then face cream, a few drops of facial oil patted on top to 'seal' it all in.

Apply a while before bed so it all has a chance to absorb and doesn't just go to your pillow!
I like to do it a few hours before bed and then read my book etc

Thanks, not hydration or sleep I don't think. But on reflection my acid reflux has been acting up a bit over Christmas (rich food, alcohol etc) apparently for some people this can cause issues with dry eyes (something to do with changing tear composition.... and I'm a big crier, any film/program/advert can set me off!) So will try and get that under control and see if it helps.

Also buying some more skincare products, brave new world for me!

Do you ever use oils like almond oil or linseed oil? I find them really nourishing and soothing for my face.
