Funeral outfit - no black!

Any ideas what I could get to wear for my MIL's funeral? She requested no black and I am fine with that but don't want to feel like I'm dressing for a wedding! I am size 14/16, tall, long legs - will wear skirts or trousers but have 2 dc (1 and 2 yrs) that will join us for 'wake' so nothing too fancy!

Thanks for your speedy replies. I will have a good look through my wardrobe. Like the thought of wearing something she liked. She was a lovely lady so want it to be right.

i think that when people say this they are hoping for a very brightly coloured group of people so try for that. not grey or purple or navy.

laurz75 · 02/05/2008 22:20

I think you are right fishie. Will go for something bright. Does feel a bit funny though.
