That’s rather vague (presumably thanks to the fizz?).

Are you asking for ideas on how to put an outfit together or are you looking for new shopping options? If the latter, where do you usually shop - with what sort of budget?

My impression is that the vast majority of MN buys work clothes from Next or Marks & S, and at points of transition people might avail themselves of the J Lewis personal shopping service. So presumably you’re already aware of these options and don’t need to be told they exist?

What a snotty response!

What kinds of clothes do you feel comfortable in OP? At this time of year I wear tailored trousers with more casual tops and a jacket/blazer of done sort. I sometimes wear jeans too.

Sounds like you've been on the fizz more like it!
Why be so mean?

I'm a size 18 and work as a teacher 45 years old

These are my go

-midi dresses

  • high waisted tapered elasticsres trousers and a plain black scoop neck top (tucked in)
  • slim fit trouser and looser top
  • pleated black midi skirt with a pattered top

Argh pressed send by accident

  • pattered midi skirt and plain black top

I wear snag tights and flat loafers from Matalan sole flex and a large leather Paul Costello bag. I have beige oversize double breasted unlined coat for work.

Tesco, Asda, Matalan, next, primark, hush (vinted) and one top from M&S

I have a few belts with gold details that help.

Perfectly legit question. Following for inspiration!

It seems harder to find tall ranges stocked in shops so I've never considered a personal shopper as an option.

I'm also tall and curvy and I think the combination makes clothes shopping really really hard. Trousers never have a deep enough rise and tops / dresses never have enough bust room and expect your bust to be really high up your torso.

I wear a fair amount from Oliver Bonas simply because they have space for curves and usually have waists that come up high enough. But everything is too short on me.

I like Lucy and Yak's Addison trousers which have properly high waists, curvy hips and long leg lengths. The plain colours can be styled to look smarter.
