small crossbody bag

I would like a small crossbody bag that looks good for going out in the evening. Small enough just for a phone, small set of keys, and smart enough to wear when dressed up. I have a smart clutch bag but hate carrying it around but the ones I seem to pick out are all a bit casual.

I'm just not good at knowing what looks good in bags which I don't mind for the daytime, but just occasionally I feel I should look dressed up/like a grown up! Any ideas?

Can't recommend PomPom London bags enough! A variety of straps you can switch out too (two free with first bag order) so you could get a casual one and a going out one. Loads of colours and sizes, I got a mini one and it's big enough for phone, keys, cards, make up

My only advice about Pom Pom is to really look at the sizes. I rarely use my Mayfair but love the Mayfair plus as it's just slightly bigger .

I agree that cross-body is less elegant than a hand-held bag (if perhaps you are going to a Palace garden party or something) but for purposes of not losing your phone, keys and cards, a small cross-body bag is ideal. And you can always pop it next to your plate at a dinner, if you want to be untrammeled.
