Yoga wear brands for a 60-something

Looking for some inspo for a Christmas gift for my mum (late 60s) - she mentioned she'd like some leggings for yoga. Can anyone recommend yoga wear/active wear brands that are good quality? She is very tall and slim (size 12/14). Looking for something that is neither frumpy nor too sexy (no scrunch bum pants 😂)
I've bought a few things from Halara recently and was quite impressed but not quite sure it's her thing.
I'm able to spend up to about £50.
Thanks 🙏

My Lululemons have gone through the wash countless times and held up, which I've found some other brands don't. Should be within the budget too.

As another 60-something - I don’t think of my age when choosing yoga wear, just what I like and what works for me.

Consequently the leggings I buy are likely to cost considerably more than £50. (But I like things to last.) Really, think about use and purpose, rather than whether they’re intended to make the wearer look sexy, or not.

The average price for Sweaty Betty or Lululemon yoga pants is around £80.

Age really is not relevant here.

Olinguita · 08/12/2024 16:09

Age wouldn't be relevant for me as I hope I would wear whatever I please in my 60s, 70s and beyond... My mum however is a little bit more conservative when it comes to clothing so I wanted to take that into account... I hope the phrasing of the question did not cause offence, it honestly wasn't meant to.
I've spotted some Lululemon leggings on sale that might be a good shout.

BAM leggings are very soft and good quality.

Marsaala · 08/12/2024 16:24

You'll probably be fine with Lululemon. I haven't had them but I imagine they are in the same league as Sweaty Betty in that they will have structure and support. I bought some awful ones from John Lewis last year (can't remember the name of the company) and they did not hold me in at all!

I bought some Sweaty Betty ones after that and they do a grand job.

I doubt anyone feels ‘offended’, @Olinguita! Just wouldn’t want you to waste your money on anything your mother might find disappointing.

You could look at Element Karbon, they have some great designs.

I'm 64 and wear a mixture of M&S Good Move and Sweaty Betty.

Hedjwitch · 08/12/2024 16:51

Ah...just noticed the conservative bit. I'm same age and wear Llama leggings for yoga as they are so funky. And soft. And have pockets!

southchinasea · 08/12/2024 17:21

I like Asquith, Bam or Sweaty Betty for pilates and yoga. I'm in my 50s.

MsFogi · 08/12/2024 18:01

Another vote for BAM regardless of age!

sharpclawedkitten · 10/12/2024 12:26

I can't bear the name Sweaty Betty. How can a company do so well with a name like that!
