Tights - holy grail tights

I'm a size 16, inside leg 32". I'm absolutely fed up of buying tights that don't fit me properly or stay up, or roll over at the waist.

I used to love Autograph opaques in a XL. They used to fit me perfectly, enough room but not too much, no nora batty effect by lunchtime, no rolling over at the waist, long enough in the leg. That seems to have changed.

Can anyone recommend somewhere to buy XL opaques that are decent quality that might fit someone with long legs and an ample backside, thanks.

This is going to sound odd but I am still using some maternity tights from Next 5 years postpartum. They were about 8 quid a pair at the time but soooo comfy and amazing quality (still going strong 5 years later!). The "bump" section obviously comes up higher than normal tights, but they don't fall down

I'd never looked at the snag website until today - I can see through the marketing crap so it wouldn't stop me buying, but if I took it literally I wouldn't think they were aiming their products at me - 50 odd career woman who wants to pair them with smart tailored work clothes.

I didn't think erotic - bit daft/try hard maybe, but then I am ..... a 50 odd career woman with a very different look.

I don't Have an issue with their marketing. I do have an issue with the decline in quality.

Tye John Lewis velvet ones are fantastic… you can pick them up in Waitrose.

Definitely Snag, they're great.

I am 5'11" and 33" leg and size 14 and these fit perfectly in XL. Not baggy, don't fall down and don't dig in. I wear them most days to work and they are comfy to sit in for the entire day. I am not prepared to pay the prices of these premium brands for a pair of tights.
