Should I buy a hairband?

My peak hairband wearing days were in the late 80s / early 90s when I was 6-10 years old. I have seen their resurgence in the last few years and they seem to be here to stay for a bit, but I'm now 42. Should I go for it and relive the joy of 7 year old me or should I accept that some things belong on 7 year olds and hairbands are definitely one of them?

Photo attached of the vibe I'd be aiming for (albeit less pissed off looking)

I think they're cute! I also like hair clips of the sort Lucy Worsley wears. I'm in my 50s though, so we'll beyond any concerns that others might think I'm trying to dress younger than I am.

How big is your head? I always think these look great on other people but every time I try to wear anything on my head it either digs in so much I have to take it off, or pops off/perches on top so looks ridiculous. I have come to the conclusion my head must be massive 🤣🤣🤣🤣

😂

Massive - my dad and I have special party hats we bring out on Christmas day because we can't get the paper cracker hats on our enormous bonces!
