Its a Christmas Party Dress Emergency

I had a dress on order for my work industry Christmas Party next week, and delivery is delayed. Slightly panicking now so hoping you marvellous women can help me.

I need to find a dress for a big lunch (1200 people) and after party at a 5* hotel.

Dress code is fairly relaxed, and I prefer edgy to sweet.

I need:
Sleeves
Not high neck as I have largish bust (G cup)
Midi though I would consider a maxi
I'd prefer a dress I can wear with boots - I don't do heels

budget up to £150

Klements are very oversized. I'm a 14 and can wear S.

They can also be easily dressed down - get lots of wear.

I vote a starlight dress from nobody’s child

it is gorgeous - but I've never worn a jumpsuit.
I find them terrifying 😁
and I can't get my head around totally stripping off to go to the loo.
Plus I'm quite bootylishious - I'd need to try that on in person to even start to get my head around the concept

Its too high in the front for me but I adore it.

I loved it from when I first saw it posted in S&B a while ago. It's a great twist on the leopard print trend too & I can wear with existing undergarments & boots. I can see this being a dress I will get a lot of wear from.

If you can't order an over budget dream silk dress when you have lost 20 kilos when can you?

I'm far too chicken for a jumpsuit but I resolve to try one on the next time I am looking for clothing in an actual shop.

Onejenu dresses and jumpsuits are super flattering and very comfortable, especially with boobs. I recommend giving it a go! Can’t help you getting round the stripping off aspect though!

NC is very quick for delivery, and I find their dresses flattering for a bigger bust!

Just fyi, I’m 30GG and my bust gets into Oliver Bonas dresses, I’m approx 12-14 but they’re sized generously. Good quality too from my recollection.

I love the Klements dress and the pink Next one too.

Id go vintage Kind regards second hand shopping. 1200 is too risky for a current dress. I never wear something that season for fear of being matchy matchy with someone else

I’m a size 18/20 too, 38JJ boobs and I bought a long mesh dress similar to this one. It’s very flattering and I’ve worn it with my chunky boots and my more dressy kitten heel boots, there are loads more in Next too if you search “Mesh Dress”
