I watched that programme presented by her last night.

I did nearly give up because it was slightly dull but then I was fascinated by her fabulous hair cut and was working out if it would suit me.

Then I noticed her clothes and thought that they were stylish but slightly funky and absolutely just right for her especially as she is a normal sized woman not a stick insect. The absolute best bit was her wonderful dark red nail polish.

I don't remember her being so glam in House of Tiny Tearaways. Does anyone else want to join in my slightly batty appreciation of her ?

I noticed she loooked younger and well groomed. She has a younger hairdo but doesnt look older which is a feat in itself!!

I'm not usually into hero worship but I do think she is pretty cool. Stylish, approachable, intelligent. She gets my vote.

She did a mumsnet chat session a while ago and was slightly alarmed by the devotion Mumsnetters displayed. I love her too, really liked the prog yesterday - and like most of her child advice (fewer naughty step 'techniques', more thinking/caring).

Pissed off she has stolen my idea for a childcare book based on using your own instincts though

Her hair colour if lovely.

I tried to get that but it turned out too dark.

I know it was her hair colour and style that got me thinking.
Generally I'm anti fringes, but hers just looked so cool that I'm wavering now.
Oh and she is so openly intelligent too, not often you see that displayed with female television presenters.

Yes - I think she is fab too!!! Nice to see presenter who knows what she is talking about.

She very charmingly (IMO) admitted to wearing magic knickers, and said that the make-up person had to do ever thicker layers on THoTT as the week wore on and she got tireder.

She does seem as though she would be good company outside of her professional life, as well as being really good at her job. Often those two things don't necessarily go together.

I will join the admiration society too, I think she is fab. She is very SENSIBLE but not too much so. She does do a lot of dark nail varnish. On HOTT she used to wear a lot of neck scarves which I wasnt keen on. But yes, she is very lovely.

I have spent the whole series oggling her house (I assume its her house she sits in).
