Harrods Advent Calendar Daily Opening

Can’t see a Harrods thread so starting this one. Surely I can’t be the only person to have a Harrods AC?

Day 1 is the very expensive Valmont Prime Renewing Pack. It’s in a proper heavy jar and I haven’t looked at the cream yet as it’s under a sealed lid and I don’t want to open it until I’m about to use it. I’m expecting great things considering the retail value. 😂

A strong start to the Harrods advent. Looked up the price of the 50ml and it is reduced to £161! 😮 I expect great things from this cream!

Tiny little shower gel today, which is a bit of an anti climax after yesterday.
smells really strong and will be handy to pop in my travel bag for a weekend away but would have been nice if paired with another mini item like a body lotion.

Shower gel with quite a strong scent. Could be used by men or women I should think.

A much better day from Harrods today - a 50ml Clarins moisturiser 🙂

I can't afford one but I'm in for the calendar envy 😁 In fact I was on youtube yesterday looking at most expensive calendar openings.

If cant afford the calendar don't forget you can resell items. I have done that before and made up enough for cost of whole calendar.

Today 4th Dec it’s the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder Ultra Blur Mini (6g), retailing at £23 on Boots, John Lewis and Sephora.

This is the only brand of setting powder I use, so I’m pretty happy with that. I got the same thing from last year’s John Lewis advent calendar and I use it for travel.

Happy with the Laura Mercier powder. I’ve been wanting to try the Ultra Blur version.

I wasn’t that excited by the Laura Mercier powder as I still have one from last year’s box that I barely use. I have just managed to sell it for £10 on Vinted.

For 5th December we have the 111 SKIN Rose Gold Brightening Facial Treatment Mask retailing at £20 per mask on 111skin.com. I’ll give this a try today as I’ve got a Christmas party to go to tonight.

I am not a big fan of sheet masks so it was a drawer of disappointment for me today. Might give it a try before I go out on Saturday though.

Better day today - a full sized Decree cleanser that retails for £47!

Today 7th Dec it’s a sample sized (7mL) bottle of Clé de Peau Beauté Le Serum, selling for £31.50 on Cult Beauty and Lookfantastic.

I haven’t tried this product before. It’s probably going into the travel bag for me.

I was a little disappointed with the tiny serum today but it seems quite a few people rate it so am keen to give it a try. Good size to throw in my travel bag along with the mini body wash.

I have just used the face mask from the other day and my skin now has a lovely glow. 🙂

Same here with the face mask @pinkchampagne1, though I won’t be buying more. The mask was huge on my face and kept slipping off at the mouth/chin area. I suppose I needed to be lying down and relaxing for the whole 20 minutes…

Today 8th Dec we have a Floraiku ‘And Your Lips’ Eau de Parfum Spray (10ml), which appears to be £60 at Harrods. Smells nice, quite sweet.

My mask kept slipping too but I wasn’t lying down relaxing at the time either.

Quite like the perfume today but it is a little sweeter than the kind of fragrance I usually go for. Pricy at £60 for 10ml

I don’t usually like sweet fragrances but I’ve been wearing this today and there’s something unusual about this that I like. It’s going in my work bg makeup kit anyway.

Tiny 5ml bottle of U Beauty eye cream today. The full sized 15ml bottle is £143 so this is a pricy eye cream!

Out of interest how much did this ac cost?
