Body cream for people with cream phobia

I hate the feel of cream on my hands and body. However my body is so dry I’m itchy as hell, so need to bite the bullet and lather it on.

Recommendations for non-greasy, fast absorbing body cream or lotion that works please! Max £20 budget.

Aveeno. My DH absolutely hate residue on his hands and this is basically only body lotion he is happy to use

You can get spray body moisturiser, have you looked into that?

How about trying an emollient as a soap substitute? It'll still be somewhat moisturising while being washed off and so you'll avoid further drying out of the skin through soap products. Epaderm cream absorbs quickly and can also be used as a soap substitute; otherwise Dermol 500 is also okay as a soap substitute.

Ooh this is a thing? I thought it was just me. Thank you!
Yes, as a PP mentioned there is a spray moisturiser - actually lots now - I’ve got a Vaseline one and it smells gorgeous. Maybe try Aveeno for a less budget version.

SanctusInDistress · 01/12/2024 13:57

A spray moisturiser sounds promising but you’d still need your hands to spread it?

Good idea!
