Leave in condition for fine wavy hair

I have lots of fine slightly wavy hair. Going completely against all the curly and wavy girl methods, i never got on well with conditioner. It just weight my hair down and makes it too smooth so it won't hold any wave, and I end up with greasy hair after a day so I have to wash too often. For years I've got on well with the following routine - wash with Green People quinoa shampoo (intensive repair) or occasionally a cowash, then follow with a detangler aimed at children (I like the Childs Farm one) and then hair oil (Liz Earle). Great. But now I'm perimenopausal my hair seems to be frizzing like crazy. I tried conditioner but still end up with heavy oily hair. So thinking maybe a better/different leave in conditioner. I'd like to enhance my waves, but I like to blow dry with my Dyson brush dryer so mousse and gel don't seem to work too well.

I use this one and it's one of the only ones I've tried that doesn't make it feel greasy or sticky. It feels lovely and soft

Taft volume wonder. It's a foam but not sticky and doesn't make hair hard. I have fine waves in my hair and this foam just makes me so much more less frizzy and more defined waves. Not a conditioner as such but I'm addicted

Forgot to say - I let it air dry

Have you tried double washing with shampoo and making sure you only conditon the ends of the hair? Conditioner should definitely not be anywhere near a scalp.

Palmers Olive Oil leave in conditioner, Aussie hair insurance, Creme of Nature Argan oil leave in conditioner

The Merwaves conditioner is good even if you don't do their whole routine...it's really light

The problem I have is that it's my roots that are always fuzzy. The ends are usually fine. So conditioning that way doesn't really touch the sides. I have a really frizzy side swept fringe and there and round my parting seem to need the moisture so it needs the conditioning around there more than anywhere else.

Second this frizz ease one. Best I've ever used. I can either use it on damp hair before blow drying, or the following days on dry hair and then brush it through.

I use this one. It's brilliant for my fine wavy hair.

Post menopause my hair texture has changed from thick strong and luxuriant with a wave to fine and frizzy, still with a wave. Hairdresser recommended Morrocan oil Hydrating shampoo & conditioner, not moisturising as it would weigh it down . I then smooth through a couple of drops of morrocan oil, then use ColorWow Dreamcoat ,keeps my hair relatively smooth looking for several days. If I’m trying for curly still morrocan oil but then scrunch in Wella curls mousse, leave to dry naturally or diffuse, scrunch it out then Paul Mitchell pomade to control the frizzies if needed
