Products for pixie cut?

I have a new pixie cut and it's been cut really well. When I left the salon it looked fabulous, all gamine and artfully dishevelled. But when I try and style it I end up with Lego hair!

What products will give me that choppy definition look. It needs to be idiot proof because I am so shit at styling hair (hence the pixie).

I use v05 texturising gum on my hair once it's dry to add texture.

The shorter mine is, the more important it is to blow dry it! Otherwise it just dries flat with no shape at all, and is not retrievable with styling products. It only takes 2 mins, but it has to be done. And it has to be washed every day.

I'd say you just need to experiment - there are definitely pixie cut/hair type combos that can just dry naturally with a bit of product and then have something put through it to finish it off. Sadly mine isn't one of them!

I have curly/wavy hair and I don't have to put anything on mine. I wash and condition it, pat it with a microfibre towel, and that's it, and usually only wash it once a week. Even my hairdresser doesn't put any product on it, he did when it was slightly longer.

It just goes to show how different we all are - and our hair - and one size doesn't fit all.
