Is there a cheap way to fix Ptosis?

I have a droopy eyelid that (looking back on childhood pictures) has always been there it is just more noticeable as my face is getting older, and I am really self conscious about it in pictures. Infact I hate my picture taking because of my noticeable eyelid droop covering my pupil.

I was thinking botox might help but it looks like botox can cause it.

There is surgery but it's around £2k which i can't afford.

Does anyone know of any other suggestions that may help?

There are tiny tapes you can buy that you stick on the lid and when you open the other part of your lid sticks to the other eye lifting the whole area.
Like tit tape but for the eyelid’s

obviously not a solution that will fix it and I can’t verify how well they work but it might be worth a look into them.

i think the nhs potentially used to fix it but I think the requirements are quite strict. Things like your eyesight had to be severely restricted etc

In case this helps, I had my ptosis fixed by the NHS. My optician had always said it was likely to happen (partly hereditary, partly through my contact lens use). When it had got bad enough that it was over my pupil, he wrote a letter to my GP who referred me to my local eye hospital. (When doing so, the GP did mention that I had an excellent optician!)

At the eye hospital, they also measured the amount that my eyelid was covering my pupils and I had the operation a month or so later.
