I've just seen Nadine Baggott saying this can be used as a cleanser as well as to wash body in the shower? Any experiences please? My skin is very dry and I usually use a balm but budget it tight! Thanks

Yes I also use it as a moisturiser, rub a small amount between hands and then onto face

Hmm.
Well I’m of the belief that soap is soap. So I use simple soap for everything face and body, I don’t even moisturise. And at 41 I don’t look any older than I should a few fine lines appearing on my forehead but that’s it.
However, I have never been abroad and always wear a wide brimmed hat in the summer.
I genuinely think the beauty industry is a bit of a con, and good skin is much more down to lucky genes and staying out of the sun.

Yes I'm only just starting to agree with this too. Feel like I've washed so much money down the drain!

Seriously, I've always wondered about this. How can a soap/cleanser dry out your face if you put moisturiser on straight afterwards?

I read this book and it encouraged me to really simplify my skin care. I now use dove soap to wash, coconut oil to moisturise as well as an SPF and that's it.

Same but I use almond oil as coconut oil clogs my pores

I only see lines on my face when I'm dehydrated or if I've been scrunching my forehead or eyebrows repeatedly and they seem to set in and be more visible.. might be something to victoria Beckham keeping her face straight and expressionless lol

My teen uses this & really rates it...joys of tiktok marketing...
Far cheaper than lots of skin stuff teens are raving about though so we're both happy!

I got a lovely Dove bar when I was away in Germany recently, it was labelled "pampering" and had the most gorgeous fragrance. Here at home I tend to alternate between original, pink and shea butter - but now wish we had "pampering" here.

Thanks for the replies.
I have a jar in the cupboard so I'm interested to see how it works for me as a cleanser and as a moisturiser. L
