What to do with these eyebrows?

(Aside from dye the greys which I will be doing this eveningBlush!)

They've got thinner as I've got older and combined with classic over plucking into a thin arch in my 20's has left two patchy, lop-sided and ugly looking eye-brows (not helped by having heavy hooded eyes also lop-sided!)

I trim them as they are very long but always worried they will end up even more sparse. I prefer a more natural look so not interested in heavy micro-blading but do need something as I look a right mess! I'm sure a decent professional shape would help but wonder if there's anything out there that would transform these sad whispy little brows into something less aging.

I actually think they look nicely shaped. I'm a victim of over plucking in the eighties and wish my eyebrows looked as nice as yours!

ZippyDenimBear · 30/10/2024 14:38

From the pic you've posted, I'd say they're pretty thick eyebrows!

CultureAlienationBoredomandDespair · 30/10/2024 14:46

They’re full and strong with a nice shape, once you’ve tinted them I think a clear brow gel would be all you need to tame them into shape a little bit.

Bobbybobbins · 30/10/2024 14:51

I think they look great! Dying and maybe use clear mascara to shape and hold in place?

lechatnoir · 30/10/2024 16:06

Grin that's so funny I'm seeing thin & whispy and everyone says how nice they are. Oh well - we're always our own worst enemies aren't we?!

It has made me realise my at home shape/trim really isn't that great so am going to try and leave them a couple of weeks and book in for a reshape and in the meantime keep on top of the dying & invest in some clear holding type gel.

For overpluckers, the brow serum really works!

Pilgrimgirl · 30/10/2024 16:46

@savvy7 thanks, I'd never heard of it before!

LunaNorth · 30/10/2024 16:50

I’ve got naturally thin, arched eyebrows. I never had to pluck them in the Nineties, they just naturally worked.

Now I look like a 90s plucking victim, even with dyeing and ombré brows, and I’d swap for yours in a heartbeat!

GrimDamnFanjo · 30/10/2024 16:52

Brow lamination? They'd be dyed and then shaped and you have enough of abrow for this to work really well.

Sayoonara · 30/10/2024 18:53

Yours are a bit like mine OP. What I did recently was get a 20x magnifying mirror with light. What that I plucked out a couple of really long wiry ones that I couldn't see to get hold of usually.

That made the texture a lot easier to handle, and I just used a brow pencil after that to add a bit more shape (don't have much grey so don't tint).
