Nose pimples

I'm struggling with pimples on my nose, which is always a little red due to spots on the nostrils. Every second week I have a white pimple on the top of my nose that is almost comical.

I don't have spots elsewhere. I was previously treated for acne but no problems since.

I wash my face morning and night but it doesn't help with the the nose.

Any thoughts?

I had painful white spots on my nose and the only thing that keeps them away is no moisturiser/serum on my nose, and putting Clean and Clear blackhead cleanser on.

Could it be rosacea? There is a form of rosacea that causes your nose to be reddened, irritated and itchy skin and frequent white pimples, very painful and often round my nostrils. I had it for several years and it didn’t respond to any kinds of washes or treatments. Was also depressing as I was in my 40s and hoped to be beyond spotty skin by then!

i went to the dr, he diagnosed it as rosacea and prescribed rosex cream. It worked really well and it has never come back - though my nose it still quite sensitive to heat.

as an aside, my dad has developed a bit of a ‘strawberry nose’ as he’s got older. Everyone blamed it (jokingly) on too much whisky, but I’m certain he has the same type of rosacea that I did - it can lead to the skin on your nose getting thicker and big pores showing.

I had bad pimples frequently and a few reoccurring ones (in the same place) and I found that increasing my water intake (about 2 bottles per day) and staying consistent for a few weeks really helped (also less oily foods and lol)

@rickyrickygrimes I think you could be right! My nose tends to go red for no reason. What you describe sounds very similar to what I'm experiencing so I'll check out rosecea. Thanks
