A really effective exfoliator for my lumpy chin! Retinol or tret??

The skin on my chin is thick and lumpy. The chin hairs often ingrow and form whitish pimples. Just looking at it with a magnifying mirror (hideous!) and I need to do something with it. Would a retinol or tret help?

Cheap and effective

Ooh that looks satisfying! Have you used it?

I prefer glycolic acid to salicylic acid. REN Ready Steady Glow and Alpha H Liquid Gold are good, they work really quickly too where I think retinol/tret takes a bit longer to see the difference.

I only ever buy my acids from them.

They are the best foe chemical exfoliants.

Are they strong enough though?

Strong enough for what..? I guess I can't comment on your specific skin but it's worth a try. I find them very effective, and lots of people can't tolerate the REN because they find it too strong.

oh and also thick skin with white pimples -is your skin red as well? Could it be perioral dermatitis?
