Direct brow lift experiences (alternatively does botox achieve much lift?)

I have a heavy brow which is drooping to such an extent that my upper lid lays on my lashes, it makes me look tired and angry and I actually feel fatigued by the weight of the skin on my upper lid and lashes. I think in time it would worsen to such an extent it would affect my vision for driving.
If I use eye tape to stick the overhanging skin out of the way it is a great relief but the glue is causing irritation in my eye crease so that isn't a long term solution. I am prepared to have a direct brow lift, removing a piece of skin directly on the upper margin of the brow hair and would love to hear from anyone who has had that procedure - how was it in the days and weeks afterwards? I doubt very much that botox would make a sufficient difference but would like to know if I am wrong about that - the muscles pulling my brow down are visibly very well developed probably because I spend a lot of my life squinting into the weather. I should have worn a hat and sunglasses.

Would a blepharoplasty be any good for you? My mum recently had one, she had a similar issue and it felt like they were begging to obstruct her vision. She is very happy with the results and genuinely seems like a new person. Recovery was tough for her but she says it was worth it 😃

Thank you @TTPDTS the effect of the tape is a bit like a blepharoplasty and the result is certainly an improvement, however there is still quite a bit of folding at the outer corner of my eye and laxity in the skin above the crease so I'm not sure it would be as effective as a brow lift. Very glad it has worked well for your mum though, I bet she feels so much better!
