Does anyone wear clothes from kids range?

I recently tried this. I like quite a lot of kids clothes and am a size 10, so theoretically the measurements often match up for circa age 14-15. But the item (a jumper) just didn't sit right. I can't put my finger on what it was though!

So my question is, are older kids clothes cut differently to the equivalent adult size? Waist and chest measurements match, but are perhaps the shoulders cut narrower, or less room for breasts, or something?

I want to know whether it's worth trying again and ordering some more things!

My daughter often does! She's 27 😊😊

Yes, they're cheaper as pp said. But mostly it's just because I like them.

Things like plain sweatshirts and stuff are all 'oversized' in adult ranges at the moment, and as a size 10 I can only size down to an 8 before running out of anywhere to go, and they're still too big to suit me. Oversized looks great on some people but not me.

And sometimes you're looking for something specific, eg cropped dark rust colour cable knit jumper without roll neck or frills, and obviously that's obscure, but you just happen to find one in the children's range...
