Sparse eyebrows post menopausal what pain free treatment would you recommend please?

Sparse eyebrows help, fading out at the edges. I am almost 60 post menopausal and have an under active thyroid.

Suggestions for my eyebrows apart from waxing which they are over due for. I wear glasses and now I am also a silver fox but not quite ready to give up just yet.

I have mine machine ombre tattooed and I love them. She uses numbing cream so not pain free but not too bad

@CameronStrike do you have a photo please.

Here they are!
My natural brows are pale and droop down into a skinny sparse tail lower than the tail that has been tattooed on. I do have to pluck though to keep the hairs tidy.

LashUK do a brow serum. I've not tried it but their lash growth serum is really effective so could be worth a trial

Thanks both. I just want them to look fairly natural but look a lot better.

Clinique, Glossier and Trinny London do an eyebrow mousse that you brush on and it fills out your brow, thickening up the hair you have. They have it in grey and taupe which might be the best colours for you.
Other brands do an eyebrow pencil that will draw on brows for you.

Another vote for eyebrow serum - I was sceptical, but it filled mine in nicely.

Thanks that Trinny recommendation sounds ideal in colour and product. However, I can’t see well without my glasses and I am always rushing about. I had a similar product from Benefit and used it about twice. As it took ages to apply because I can’t see well. So its glasses off and glasses on again etc. I was hoping for a non painful treatment that I could forget about. I have tried dying them and had them dyed professionally but maybe that might work alongside the serum.

Apparently thinning sparse browse at the end of an eyebrow is a symptom of an under active thyroid and AI issues which I have had for years.

You get glasses for applying make up that you can flip one eye down at a time on to see better for doing make up, that might be an option, I’ve seen them on Amazon. I used benefit precisely pen to draw some little hair strokes and then dab on make up setting spray or powder over the top and then the thickener brush over the rest of eyebrow. I’m pretty quick at doing it now after all these years.

I’ve not been brave enough to try microblading, some very mixed results out there.

Maybe try a 10X magnifying mirror for applying makeup. I couldn’t manage without mine.

My first thought was thyroid, how are your meds managing your levels? Mine got thicker again once the meds were at the right level.

Thanks I have been on medication for just over 20 years. I have blood tests when they tell me to and very occasionally my medication dosage is adjusted but this happens rarely. I will look at these suggestions. Thanks all.
