It certainly does. I love it. I use batiste, thou TIGI do one also I beleive.

It is great for in between washes and it really workes!

mumofdjandbabies · 23/04/2008 12:12

Link please I have not a clue what youre on about

SilentTerror · 23/04/2008 12:16

Batiste excellent,as Northerner says.

Cappuccino · 23/04/2008 12:17

yes I have used Batiste and it is fine

Bridie3 · 23/04/2008 12:20

I use it too if I simply can't be bothered to wash my hair in our rather unfinished bathroom, which lacks a proper shower at present.

Batiste does the job.

Casserole · 23/04/2008 12:27

I saw it in sainsburys last week, funnily enough - haven't seen it in YEARS!

A little bit of talc works too if you're desperate...

SheikYerbouti · 23/04/2008 12:31

Batiste v good.

Don;t use too much of it though, otherwise you will hgave the look of an 18th century wigged cad.

JRocks · 23/04/2008 13:03

I use the ModelMe one from Boots on those in betweeny days where you can just about get away with not washing your hair.. it's normally £5.49 but noticed on Monday they are doing 2 for £7 so have stocked up

offer is different online for some reason

Bridie3 · 23/04/2008 13:07

You're so right, Sheik!

Or you'll look as if you've aged rather suddenly.

Monkeybird · 23/04/2008 13:16

so what do you do then? I have images of tipping powder all over my hair then going on the school run, having forgotten, then looking like I am making bread in my hair. Or summat.

Rub it into the scalp. Leave for a minute and then brush it out.

JRocks · 23/04/2008 14:38

The one I use is a spray, you direct it at the areas that need attention, then just style as usual..couldn't be easier

Katiekitty · 23/04/2008 16:21

Batiste is way better than talc... been there, tried that in an emergency but felt the shame all day as nothing would shift the talc out. Batiste doesn't leave you with a grey, faded hue to your barnet, you just spray it in, rub it in (no grace or delicacy required), then you brush it out. Voila, you can make your 'do' do for another day. It smells nice and fresh too. Plus, you don't feel too scummy either. It's the perfect crime, really

Monkeybird · 24/04/2008 16:17

I have received my Batiste Tropical spray in my Tesco's delivery.

I shall be trying it tomorrow morning when I will be too lazy busy to have a bath before school run.

I shall report back. And I will blame you SheikYerbouti if I end up looking like Grandma from Catherine Tate.

Oh feckin feckin feck feck.

i can't believe I have gone 40 years without knowing about this stuff.

OK I do look a bit 'ash blonde salt and pepper' (and I'm dark!) but it's BLOODY BRILLIANT!

I was doubtful because my hair (washed yesterday) was VERY greasy.

And now it isn't. And it took 30 seconds.

Where can you buy it in bulk?

Stinks like billy-oh though. Tropical FGS.
