Just going to registry office but would like some nice photos, DP will be in shirt and tie but not like a full trad wedding suit.

Size 12. 40yo.

Don't want white, am a bit alternative, so maybe black? But I'm not sure!

Ah it's quite hard to find something gatsby glam but not sequinned... does it have to be black and / or maxi length? Theres some lovely 1920s gowns on Babeyond, I really liked this one but it's not full length if that would bother you.

Failing that, how do you feel about something a bit different? I feel like this De La Vali has the 1920's glam silhouette and is quite art deco, but with a modern twist and quite an out there print. A bit overbudget(!) but is gorgeous and striking.

Reiss has some lovely looking dresses that are not wacky or bridesmaidy and might work well

My cousin's wedding dress was a traditional white dress but with black tulle over the top. It looked beautiful.
