Blusher that's not too pigmented

I have fair skin, I need blusher recommendations that won't make me look clownish! I have honed my application technique, always get rid of excess on the brush but still struggle.

Benefit Dandelion is very subtle.

I really like the cream blusher from primark, comes in a little pot like this..

I just got the Rare Beauty melting one which is very gentle (I'm pale but like to pile it on and that's hard to do with this one!).

I also got the NYX butter melt one which is the complete opposite, unbelievably pigmented.

Some of the Dior shades are very flattering on pale skin.

Seconding benefit dandelion, very subtle and impossible to over do. Wish they'd do a cream version of it though

Definitely benefit Dandelion. I have it but I need something that is the same type of colour but has more impact, as it gets a bit lost in top of my foundation.

I’m very pale with dark hair. I love Merit blush in Stockholm - you can keep it sheer or build it up because it’s cream and it’s super easy to apply.

My first thought was Benefit dandelion too.

Try working out if you’re cool toned, warm toned or neutral. Sometimes the wrong color will look clownish regardless of how little you put on,

The elf putty blushers are lovely and really buildable so you could keep it subtle.

They sell a brush too specifically for this blush but I prefer their liquid blush brush for with them.

Very affordable too if you are a blush beginner, only £6 I think.

On the other end of the scale, I love the Charlotte tilbury cheek to chic blushers but they are more pigmented so you’d have to go with a lighter touch.
