Teeth care/dental routine

I just wanted to get some recommendations on products you’ve been using.

If I’m being honest, I find brushing my teeth to be a bit annoying because I need a new electric toothbrush. Often the battery drains quickly and it’s just a faff more times than not - sometimes I have to use it like a regular toothbrush. I have the old top of the line Oral B, but I’m thinking of switching to Phillips.

I’m also after any other recommendations you have like toothpaste/mouthwash/floss, that you really rate. I’ve been using the same things for ages and have seen lots of new products out but not sure if worth it!

I have a sonic toothbrush and it took a while to get used to it but it's very good. It even made my teeth whiter.

I've recently got a Panasonic water flosser and I'm in love with it.

Ultradex mouthwash is great and it's really improved the condition of my gums. It's expensive but I stock up whenever it's on offer which is quite frequently.

I love my oral b toothbrush!

if you can’t splash out on a water flosser (pardon the pun) I find the long handled teepee brushes are amazing. They are harder the find than the regular kind but easier to use and hold.

I’ve got an old Oral B toothbrush which I’m not replacing until it dies.

Personally I use Pro Formula Oral Care Sensitive which is Tesco’s own brand and about £1.

I use flossers rather than floss and like Plackers Eco Flossers Cool Mint.

I also use a Te Pe brush in yellow.

Different people like different things though, DP’s like Sensodyne toothpaste and Oral B floss and a few Te Pe brushes.

Thanks everyone! Off to search these now

The gaps between my teeth are quite narrow so I don’t tend to be able to use waterflossers though they seem good!

I’m overwhelmed by all of the dental choices on Boots. Has anyone tried the flavoured Hisense toothpastes? Can’t make my mind up if it’s a good idea or gimmicky! There’s even purple shampoo for your teeth! Feel like I’ve been living under a rock!

I just discovered there’s an £800 Oral B electric toothbrush which seems quite gimmicky too. I’m a techy person with smart home-everything, but even I think it’s a bit redundant
