Peacocks and New look both do maternity ranges now and some of the bits are quite nice.Or just buy bigger sizes in Primark?
Congrats by the way!

I often see stuff on freecycle

also not the cheapest of the cheap but some of the 3 packs of basic stuff from Next is good value.

greenday · 21/04/2008 13:14

Topshop is good value - and fashionable too. They often use the same range from the normal clothings and simply tweak it a little to make them maternity. So you'd be able to wear them even after you've given birth without looking too maternity, IYKWIM.

H&M, like Topshop do stuff that looks non-maternity and good value too.

Congrats!

Bramshott · 21/04/2008 13:50

NCT sales usually have them.

vonsudenfed · 21/04/2008 13:55

Would second NCT sales, and any other local nearly new sales - there's usually a good rail and not the same scrum as round the stairgates.

Also, do you have a second-hand children's clothes shop near you? Ours also carries maternity clothes.

sparklesandnowinefor9months · 21/04/2008 14:18

Ah yes i'll look out for our next NCT sale i forgot about them!

can you order online for topshop or do you have to go instore?

Big sized non maternity dresses etc. from charity shops. Wear with cardigans and maternity tights till the weather gets warmer. Bob's yer uncle, maternity wardrobe for about 30 quid

just got a couple of bigger tops from Boden in the sale for £4 each and think i will look in mothercare (as they have a sale on!) and H&M at the weekend
