People who know about face-creams...please help me!

I don't really look after my skin and need to know what is best for me.

I'm in my mid-twenties and am starting to see some signs of 'mature' skin - a couple of lines here and there and I want to start taking care of myself.

I have dry-skin that soaks up normal moisturisers in seconds so have to go with the super-oily moisturers that keep my skin feeling refreshed and not dried out.

Can anyone please recommend fabulous day/night creams that would be good for my age/skin-type/lines?

I use clarins (little bit pricey tho) but suits my skin, I know a lot of Mnetters rave about Liz Earle but I suppose it really depends on what your budget is, alot of it is trial and error too so if you go to any counters try to get some samples before spurling out, I'm using the boots perfect and protect serum but I've not used the moisturiser. Pretty sure you'll have lots of recommendations soon

Anything under £50 is okay.

Thanks

I like the Liz Earle, but you could also try the Waitrose Baby Bottom Butter - lots of MNers like it for their faces (story in the Daily Mail, apparently). V cheap (the waitrose stuff, not the DM)

The ALDI one is hitting the headlines at the mo...a snip at £2.99 a pop.

Or Waitrose baby bottom butter....as discovered on MN!

Boots perform and protect is what I'm using at the moment. It was last year's wonder cream; I've used it for a few years.

And, if you check out Cod's Codpiece threads in style and beauty, I'm sure face creams were reviewed.

My SIL uses Ponds cold cream. Swears by it. And she does have good skin, if obvioulsy not very sensitive

Right will go and research each one.

Thanks girls

Tesco "skin wisdom" range is very good and very cheap
I use cheaper stuff alongside some more expensive stuff and I think both work well
