Deep berry/burgundy lip stain

Can anyone recommend one? I've tried a few over the last few days but they all seem to end up being too red! I'm looking for something with like a deep purple hue to the red. Not purple but not bright red.

Nothing outrageously expensive but if it stays put and looks amazing I'll consider maybe £20.

Oh no, I haven’t noticed with Merit. My daughter-in-law got me one called sugar beat that I get loads of compliments on. I’m white British slightly tan skin and it’s like my lips look better with a slight pink sheen to it.

Oh my God it’s amazing.

Yes agree that the glossier one is not a lip stain but the colour is great. I found as I get older the strong maroon burgundy lip colour just make me look exhausted.

I had my lipsticks arrived, the L'Oréal one in Payday is a great shade, more purple than I thought it would be but I love it! Only thing is I don't know how to apply it neatly!!

I also ordered the rom&nd blur fudge tint in pomelo or whatever it's called and it's a really good nude. A bit coraly but probably better on me than the pinker one.

A black honey type stain would be the holy grail for me. Found this one on Amazon for £7 with free next day delivery on prime

Ahh I'm so pleased! Let me know how you get on with it - there's so many colours I have my eye on, I have a mini in the Jujubee colour but I've nearly run out. Both of them smell really good too, weirdly!

Thanks! I've ordered a Merit one in Tiger, because I noticed they were phasing out the older colours, and didn't want to miss it. It seems crazy to spend so much for makeup I've never even tried on – but I suppose there's always eBay if it doesn't work out
