Good cream for dry flaky under-eyes?

If you suffer with dry flaky skin around your eyes, and have found a good cream that helps, please can you recommend it?

The last couple of weeks, it's like this area of my face has lost the ability to self-moisturise: it doesn't itch but it's super dry and very flaky.

I don't use eye cream (up until now!) so I've been applying my intensive moisturising night cream around the eyes, but to little effect.

Ideally I'd like to find a cream that will leave the skin soft and supple - and that I can apply concealer to. At the moment I can't wear under-eye concealer because it is very caked and flaky by the end of the day - so as well as having dry eyelids, I'm going around with my tired dark under-eyes on full display (gah).

Google shows me so many different ultra-moisturising eye creams that I don't know where to start - if you have any pointers or product tips, me and my cakey flaky eyes would be very grateful!

Sounds like eczema. I have protopic on prescription from the GP which helps when it flares up

Thank you. I'm not sure it is eczema: it isn't inflamed, doesn't itch or anything like that. It's just really dry! But maybe I'll get some E45 and try that. Thank you for replying.

This: https://www.eucerin.co.uk/products/urea-repair/smoothing-night-creme-5percent-urea
(There is a lighter one which is very good and almost identical it just says dry skin instead of very dry. I have bought the wrong one more than once.)
If takes a while to sink in, but you can use concealer on top if you leave it to sink in for 20-30 mins. Or you can use it at night and use the lighter one in the morning.

UreaRepair Rich Replenishing Face Cream 5% Urea 50ml| Dry Skin | Eucerin

Intensively revitalises the face during sleep, leaving it soft, smooth and hydrated.

@ListToHunt did you find something you like? My under eyes aren’t flaky but have gone incredibly dry. I’m using a Clinique eye cream but make up still just sits and creases. I don’t mind wrinkles per se, but the dryness is rubbish.

I was recently recommended Khiels avocado eye cream in SpaceNK. I’m finding it pretty decent so far and I have terribly dry skin around my eyes.

I've been using a Polish brand called Tolpa, which you can get in bigger branches of Boots. I don't know if they do a special eye cream, but I've been using the regular day cream for face.

It's very moisturising and lush! Tube wasn't cheap (about £16) but the cream is doing a good job so far. It's intensive without being sticky/greasy.

I’ve found a solution to this but it’s a little extreme so bear with me.
I put a thick layer of Weleda skin cream Rich on, let that sink in, then put a layer of a lip balm over the top. The lip balm acts as an occlusive and traps the moisture in. My lip balm is a honey/ceramide one from Korea - very thick texture.
I used to have the driest under eyes which would always look lines and flaky but this combo has sorted it out and they are supple and feel moist to the touch all day.

The Waleeda balm is very good on dry bits as another poster suggested. I have chronic dry skin/eczema and also use protopic ointment around eyes and nose on prescription.

I like curel, green pot with white lid
