Not saucy, but a bit fat...

I'm posting this because I've been so impressed by all the advice you've the OP on the 'Not saucy but a bit fat' thread. I hardly ever go 'out' out now, which is fine. I am happy in the clothes I generally wear. There is a lot of me I don't bare in public, including skin with seborrheic keratoses and my swollen legs in their support stockings. Almost all my shoes are sensible flat laceups/trainers; I have big feet (size 8) and can't wear heels. BUT I am going away at the end of September fir a warm week, and I'd like to dress up a bit in the evenings. I'm 5ft 8in, size 16. I just want to look nice while I'm on holiday.

I mostly wear some cotton/ bamboo ones which are black or ribbed I got them from Amazon and not sweaty and stay up - BUT They haven't been available for ages and I'm getting holes in these so the brand you recommended sounds pretty good. I'll get some of them .
I Also have some prescription ones but I don't love them. They're tights material And I think only level two so they don't feel as tight as my bamboo ones 🤷 plus I find they slide around on top of the Orthotics so then I end up wearing some like trainer socks as well and then my feet feel bulky. So I think I'm just going to go back to knee-high socks..
I have a friend who's been wearing compression gear for decades. Her top tip was to get compression tights and then you can wear them under anything skirts, jeans or even another pair of tights/ leggings in a nicer colour.
Unfortunately, the prescription tights I got last year don't really fit very well.. And they fall down so I don't wear them!!
There's some tights on that website of yours so maybe I'll give them a go.

With the wide leg treasures, as long as they're slim around your hips and waist and you show your waist line under your baggy shirt or you wear something slightly more fitted on top then I think they're absolutely fine. I feel more svelt than I do if I'm wearing my old skinny jeans
